With all the crap hanging off my ceiling in my Joe collection, it's a wonder I don't buy more land based vehicles. Well, dammit! I like the G.I. Joe/Cobra planes!
So I ordered some.
But we'll get to those in a moment, we'll take things back down to the land and sea part of the G.I. Joe universe first.
I own both the Air Adventurer and the Land Adventurer, it was time to add the Sea Adventurer to the list. The sub is one I already have, just in a different color. Now I am one short (Adventure Team Commander) and he's the most expensive of the set and rarely on eBay. >.<
Next up is the HAVOC. This was one of the bigger vehicles I had as a kid (and those were few and far between for me) but back then I never really liked it. I was more into realistic/military affair and not little hover vehicles or treaded things with HUGE canopies for shooting at. Then, as I got older, I found appreciation for it, but only because of...
Oh Collectors' Club, you magnificent bastards, you! When I first saw Cross Country unveiled, I had to have him (and posted about it on my Facebook page back then as well). He's got a lot of original tooling and is picture perfect! That HAVOC is coming with an original Cross Country, but that ugly fuck is going right in the parts bin. This is the figure to have this year.
And now we take to the skies.
I only have TALLUS76 to blame for this purchase. He took a wonderful picture of it and I knew right then I had to have one. The pilot leaves something to be desired, but I will live with it. Tiger Force never really struck a chord with me ever, but the Python Patrol just seemed menacing.
And finally, one of the jets I always wanted. As a kid, a friend of mine had it and I would always choose it when we played with our figures. It was just so BIG, sizing up against the Night Raven with ease. And the lines of it, my GOD the lines...
The Pantom X-19 is what every Joe plane should aspire to be. There is nothing else like it. While my USS Flagg dio is currently full, I do have to take some pics of this bad boy on it. He also came with the pilot, but MEH! I don't buy the vintage vehicles for the figures anyways. Got it 100% complete, even the nose cone that a lot of people seem to lose.
So we're now sitting at 290 figures. Next month I am going back down south into the world and hitting up Canada's largest mall that has a ton of collector places -- I am sure to finish off things by then.
Long weekend this weekend, and as long as the weather holds up expect some new photos! Feel free to make some requests!
Have a great weekend, guys!

Cash Money.
Apparently my new hobby has caught on. Not only am I decently respected in the Gaslands community now, but I just got another commission, and this one is paying CASH. $20 bucks per car, 5 cars. hat's going to be enough to buy me a rotary tool and an air brush finally, so expect some even better/crazier builds in the future!
That awkward moment...
Sitting on the couch this evening on Skype, playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Warriors (yes, the Japanese version on an actual SFC because I am a snob) and you have to pause the game to let the dog out.
I have read enough fan-fiction to know where this is going.
Unpacked.
Well, here we are. The "Nerd Cave" will now be known as the "Nerd Lair" and I have finally finished unpacking the beast! Well, ok, I still have one corner left to do but for the most part it's done. You may remember the old pics of the "Cave", a jumbled, cramped mess. Moving has allowed me to put things in certain zones -- and as always, I took some pics to showcase the good bits.
I suppose we'll start with the good stuff, here's the G.I. Joe collection. What you see here is 300+ figures and 30+ vehicles, all surrounding my computer. Out of all the packing/moving/unpacking, only one thing suffered any damage -- the Slugger vehicle had it's l
Moved.
As some of you may have heard, been quiet on dA because I have been in the process of moving into a new house up in the Arctic. This was not an easy venture, not with the amount of stuff I have acquired in the past 2 years! But fear not! I am at about 75% completion of the new and improved "Nerd Cave".
Here's a shot of the G.I. Joe corner. It's getting there!
So stay tuned, in about a week I shall have a new "Nerd cave" video up and going.

The Havoc is my favorite all time vehicle. It makes no sense to put the driver in such a vulnerable spot.....but, I love it. Also the X-19 is also one of my favorites.
